Quote of the week

"Just as the number one can never be reduced to zero, once we act or speak, our action or speech is never completely erased."

Quote of the Week

The truth is more important than the facts.
Frank Lloyd Wright

This quote brought to mind our prayer service last night and is a perfect idea to remember when we are asked to pray for or with someone.

In our lives we experience many things which create “dis-ease” in our lives whether it is a physical disease or another type of difficulty in our lives.

When we pray we re-establish our connection with God in order to go beyond the appearances or “facts” of the situation to remember our true being as perfect and whole in Spirit.

Swami Sivananda has stated that “The inward battle against our mind, our wounds, and the residues of the past- is more terrible than the outward battle”.
It is much easier to organize and regulate our outer lives than our attitudes and at times it is more difficult to put aside the facts of our situation in order to see the Truth of it.

Let us know together that we are one in Truth and God is Blessing you!

Prayer Gathering this Sunday 5/21 @ 7 pm

This Sunday @ 7 pm we will gather to share prayer and time together.

We may also discuss what I am calling Jesus Decoded.
This weekend the Da Vinci Code opens and has created a discussion on who was Jesus.
So what do you think? Was Jesus married? Does it even matter? Is Tom Hanks who you pictured as Langdon?

Let’s discuss it, while we pray and support each other in community.
I am looking forward to seeing you there.

God is Blessing You!

Do not settle for little dreams.
God meant you for more.
Listen, be still, can you hear?

May 21, 2006 7 pm Meeting

On Sunday May 21, 2006 we will get together for prayer & fellowship.

Unity was founded as a prayer ministry where members joined together to share requests for prayer and support in the circumstances of their lives (their need for healing, prosperity...).

We invite you, your friends & family to join with us as we continue this tradition.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday evening and sharing the power of Spirit in all our lives.

God is Blessing You!!!

John
