Prayer generates great power for good, and when people are united in prayer, this power is magnified many times. As we unite with hearts around the world on September 14 for our 2006 World Day of Prayer, we are creating a unity of spirit—one that will generate a deeper awareness of God within.
We are honored that you will be part of this consciousness of Spirit. This is a sacred time of awakening to the presence and power of God within, a sacred time of creating with God a world radiant with life, overflowing with abundance, and established in lasting peace. As we join in faith with you, we envision people everywhere experiencing the goodness and love of God. We invite you to join us in affirming these words on September 14:
United heart to heart in prayer, we create a world of radiant life, overflowing abundance, and lasting peace as we awaken to the power of God within.
