The Invocation/Affirmation

We had a wonderful discussion this morning.

Here is the Invocation/Affirmation you can use before you begin your prayer/meditation session.

I am now in the presence of pure Being,

and immersed in the Holy Spirit

of life, love, and wisdom.

I acknowledge Thy presence and Thy power.

O blessed Spirit. In Thy divine wisdom now erase my mortal limitations,

and from Thy pure substance of love

bring into manifestation my world,

according to Thy perfect law.

Foundations of Unity, Episode 4, Prayer & Meditation

This Sunday we continue our series of workshops focusing on the Five Foundation Principles of Unity.

This week we discuss Principle 4.

Through Prayer & Meditation,

we align our heart-mind with God.

"Those who take time regularly and who give themselves

to the necessary prayer and meditation,

to get new light and to round out their consciousness

and ability to use all their faculties,

find that they go from one prosperity to another.

They frequently finish with one thing undertaken.

This does not mean that they have failed

or that they must be without position and resources.

It means that they are being offered the next higher step . "

Our Foundations of Unity series continues this Sunday @ 11am.

Unity Church of Hempstead

I am excited to announce that Unity Long Island and Unity Church of Hempstead have joined together to spread the Unity message. I have accepted the position of Spiritual Leader at Unity Church of Hempstead.

The potential for spreading the Unity message is phenomenal. I will begin teaching and leading services at the church and we will continue our special events and World Day of Prayer Service on the beach.

During the month of May, I will be leading a Unity Class and Prayer Service Sunday Mornings at 11 am. We will be having monthly Celebration Services throughout the summer beginning June 14th at 11 am. The church is located at 298 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead NY 11550. There is parking across the street and it is close to the Hempstead LIRR station.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our events and invite you to become a part of our launch team.
